In this interview Michael David Crill (1954) discusses his early life in England; family move to Montana in 1966; military service in 1970s; returning to Montana to work for W.R. Grace in 1975; various jobs worked on as member of labor pool especially shoveling and cleaning up cars of vermiculite; safety issues in the mines; union activities; social life in Libby including Logger Days; gaining training and work in Idaho with Hazardous Waste; working in Virginia City with maintenance; difficulties family faced when he lost his job; returning to Libby to work; impact of vermiculite mining and asbestos on that community; his family's diagnosis' with asbestos related illnesses.
